The Three Holy Months are Coming

hadisiserif

RAJAB

Rajab is the seventh lunar month and the first of the blessed period known as the three months. When the prophet(pbuh) entered the month of Rajab, he would make this blessed dua.

”My Allah, bless for us Rajab and Shaban and let us reach Ramadan”

SHABAN

Shaban is the eigth lunar month and the second of the Three Months. In this month, our deeds are raised to Allah, the Lord of all creation.

The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu aleyhi wassallam said that

”That is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. It’s a month in which the deeds are taken up to the Lords of the worlds and I like that my deeds be taken up when I am fasting.”

RAMADAN

Ramadan is the ninth lunar month and the last of the three months. Muslims are required to fast in this month. The Quran was revealed in Ramadan, and it’s sunnah to stay in itikaf during the last ten days.

Allah’s Messenger prophet Muhammad(pbuh) said ” When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained.

With pray..

Dhul Hijjah

The month of Dhul Hijjah is one of the holiest periods of the Islamic year, SubhanAllah. A month of increased spirituality, we witness two very special events (Hajj and Eid ul Adha) – all in devotion to Allah (SWT).

Many people don’t know that the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are better than all the other days of the year, the ten best days with no exception. They are even better than the days of Ramadan, SubhanAllah!

Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him)said;

There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days

Our hearts and prayers are with those undertaking the holy pilgrimage of Hajj during these days. While many of us are unable to make the blessed journey this year, there are still many ways for us to reap the blessings of this month.

According to many scholars of the Qur’an, the days mentioned as significant enough for Allah to swear by them are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Whoever is not able to go to Hajj should use this blessed time to complete even more righteous deeds than usual. These can include anything such as giving charity, honouring one’s parents, upholding the ties of kinship, and enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil.

It is also important to enhance our obligatory acts of worship by being mindful of our prayers and ensuring we pay our zakat on this time.

For those of us who have not yet completed the pilgrimage of Hajj, this is an ideal time to make Du’a that Allah grants us the opportunity to do so soon. Fasting and remembrance are particularly recommended.

The ten days of Dhul-Hijjah include Yawm al-Arafah (the Day of Arafah), on which Allah perfected His Religion.

The Paradise of Gaza; Mothers

Being a mother means having compassion, hugging and hugging, not sleeping when your child is hungry and sick. It means that when he gets hurt, he hurts you a thousand times more.. It means that you cry for hours so that tears don’t flow from your child’s eyes.. It means that when you sacrifice your life for your child, you don’t look back.. It’s the same everywhere in the world, Mom.. In Turkey, in Africa, in Yemen, in Sudan, in East Turkestan.. But the world is a witness that most of all, mom, mom is in Gaza..

Honored mothers in Gaza.. Mothers of faith.. Mothers who are under the heavenly feet pointed out by the Prophet Muhammad.. Most of all, happy Mother’s Day to you. Mothers who do not give up their trust even while wrapping their child’s body in their own headscarf and carrying it on their laps, who paint their tears into prayers, who are the most ”mother” who surrender to Allah with a kind heart.. Only mothers who have known his faith on the mother’s lap and taken refuge in him..

His wife is gone, his house is gone, even his most carefully chosen curtain is gone, his sewing machine is gone, but his faith is not gone, his hope has not left him.. The most noble examples of the word that faith makes a person the sultan of the universe. Faith is the crown of their head, the light of their eyes..

Happy Mother’s Day, women valiant of Gaza.. You will meet your children in the most beautiful corner of paradise, and there will be no trace on their faces except the light..

Their noble blood, which dripped on you in the last moments in this world, will become rivers of milk for you in heaven.. My angel mother and all the beautiful mothers in the world..

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you.. With prayer and mercy…

PASSENGERS OF THE SALTY WATERS

Once upon a time there was a young man; he spent his life with a thirst that gnawed at his insides. Wherever he turned, wherever he reached for a blessing, the fire in his heart never went out. One day, a vast sea appeared before him. Wave after wave of wealth, property, fame and metaphorical loves. The sea was dazzling. Each wave whispered another desire to the young man: “Come, quench your thirst here!” The young man couldn’t stand it and dipped his palms into the sea. He began to drink the pleasures and loves of this world. The first sip made him think he was cooling down; but immediately his throat was scorched; His heart flamed. With each drink, his thirst increased. Neither wealth, nor love, nor fame left a true peace in his heart.

Just as Hazrat Mawlana said: “A thirsty heart drinks salty water, the more it burns, the more it burns, the more it drinks, the more it thirsts.” One evening, he came across a Mawlawi dervish on the beach. The dervish was looking at the sea with a dignified demeanor, and a yellow cat next to him was standing peacefully with its eyes closed.

The dervish put his hand on the young man’s shoulder with compassion and said, “My son, the water you drink is the water of the world.” It looks beautiful but tastes bitter. Whoever gives in to worldly pleasures increases his thirst, because the heart becomes more dry as it moves away from God. Your thirst goes not to mortal blessings, but to the mercy of the Eternal Lord.”

Then the dervish bent down to the ground and pointed to the water of an invisible spring. A clear, pure and quiet water… A coolness and lightness arose in the heart of the beholder. The dervish recited a verse from the Quran:

This worldy is no more than play and amusement. (Surah-Al-Hadid,20)

The young man knelt down on his knees. And for the first time he saw with his heart, not with his eyes. He realized that the peace he was looking for would be found not when he had it, but when he left it and turned to God. From that day on, he neither listened to the call of the sea nor fell into the deceptive charms of mortal pleasures. He drank only from the fountain of Hakk and his thirst was quenched forever.

He prayed to himself: “O Allah, make me one of those who are resurrected in the source of your mercy, not those who drown in the salt of the seas.”

Repentance in Islam

Tawbah is the act of repentance to Allah from any kind of sins or wrongdoings. A Muslim has to repent for anything that is forbidden in Islam. such as lying or backbiting. In the Quran and Hadith, the word Tawbah (to return) means returning from evil and unholy activities and firmly avoiding them in the future.

Tawbah is the first step of discipline, the key to guidance to the straight path and the means of purification for those who wish to be nearer to Allah.

Allah s.w.t. says in the Quran:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا

“O you who have faith, repent to Allah with sincere repentance.”

(Surah At-Tahrim, 66:8)

Even Rasulullah s.a.w. who was the most pious and sinless human being used to seek Allah’s forgiveness over 70 times a day.

The companion, Abu Hurairah r.a. said:

سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول “والله إني لأستغفر الله وأتوب إليه في اليوم أكثر من سبعين مرة

I heard Rasulullah s.a.w. say, “I swear by Allah that I seek Allah’s Pardon and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.”

(Sahih Al-Bukhari)

It is never too late. Those who believe that they may have conducted any wrongdoing or misdeed can sincerely repent for their mistake and seek Allah’s forgiveness.

Allah s.w.t. mentions in the Quran:

وَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

“And turn to Allah altogether, O believers! So that you may succeed”

(Surah An-Nur: 24:31)

An example of the importance of repentance in Islam is acquiring Allah’s love.  Allah s.w.t. loves a person who repents in His way. Although a person may have committed a big sin, if they repent sincerely, always do His commands and leave His prohibitions, the person may be blessed with Allah’s love and forgiveness. As mentioned in the Quran:

إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

“Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:222)

Benefits of Salawat

Benefits and Why You Should Recite The Salawat

According to hadiths, there are 5 main benefits of reciting the Salawat:

  1. By reciting the salawat or the prayer once, Inshallah that Allah will record your benevolence and goodwill by rewarding you with ten good deeds in return on your record (HR. Ahmad).
  2. Reciting the salawat once, Allah will bless him with ten blessings and remove from him ten sins (HR. Ahmad).
  3. By doing so, Allah will bless him with ten blessings, remove from him ten sins and raise his rank by ten degrees (HR. An Nasa’i).
  4. Reciting the salawat will gain you the Prophet’s intercession and blessing. The person most entitled to the Prophet’s intercession on the Day of Resurrection is the one who prays and recite the salawat for the Prophet the most (HR. Tirmidzi)
  5. Finally, reciting the salawat will bring you closer to the Prophet, especially if recited during Fridays. As it is also historically shown that the prayers for the Prophet’s people are shown to him every Friday. Whoever prays the most, then he is the person who is closest in position to the Prophet.

THE NIGHT OF POWER-LAYLAT’UL QADR

Laylat-al-Qadr is otherwise known as the Night of Power and is considered to be the Islamic calendar’s Holiest eve. During this night, Angel Jibril revealed the Holy Qur’an’s first verses to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This night falls within Ramadan’s final 10 days, and although the exact date is unidentified, it is commonly thought of as the Holy month’s 27th day.

This is a night of great commemoration and devotion to Allah (SWT) and places higher than that of 1,000 months.

When you complete good deeds on Laylat al-Qadr, your fasting is increased in reward. On this night, a single act of kindness gives the blessings of 1,000 months. Carrying out these deeds on the Holiest night and dedicating your day to worship will extend your taqwa. Be sure to recite the Holy Qur’an and engage with its teachings by assisting those most in need, thus fulfilling one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Performing a charitable deed on Laylat-al-Qadr promises many future rewards.

“We have indeed revealed this in the ‘Night of Power’. And what will explain to you what the night of power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down The Angels and the Spirit by Allah’s permission, on every errand. “Peace!…This until the rise of Morn!” – Surah Al-Qadr

The Night of Power is no longer or shorter than any other night; however, during Ramadan, many Muslims prefer to sacrifice sleep on this Holy day in order to worship and pray to Allah (SWT). It is believed that giving up sleep for Allah (SWT) to pray and undertake good deeds will result in all prior sins being pardoned.

The last ten nights of Ramadan are believed to be the most important of the holy month, as this is when the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) received the first verses of the Qur’an. This is remembered today through zakat donations being spread across the final ten nights, including Laylat-al-Qadr donations for additional rewards in the Hereafter.

The Twentieth Letter

In His Name, be He glorified!

And there is nothing but it glorifies Him with praise. In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. There is no god but God, He is One, He has no partner; His is the dominion, and His is the praise; He alone grants life, and deals death, and He is living and dies not; all good is in His hand, He is powerful over all things, and with Him all things have their end.

MIRACLES OF THE QURAN

Fourteen centuries ago, God sent down the Qur’an to mankind as a book of guidance. He called upon people to be guided to the truth by adhering to this book. From the day of its revelation to the day of judgement, this last divine book will remain the sole guide for humanity.

The matchless style of the Qur’an and the superior wisdom in it are definite evidence that it is the word of God. In addition, the Qur’an has many miraculous attributes proving that it is a revelation from God. One of these attributes is the fact that a number of scientific truths that we have only been able to uncover by the technology of the 20th century were stated in the Qur’an 1,400 years ago. However, the Qur’an is not a book of science, it is a book of Signs! Many scientific facts that are expressed in an extremely concise and profound manner in its verses have only been discovered with the technology of the 20th century. These facts could not have been known at the time of the Qur’an’s revelation, and this is still more proof that the Qur’an is the word of God.

In order to understand the scientific miracle of the Qur’an, we must first take a look at the level of science at the time when this holy book was revealed.

In the 7th century, when the Qur’an was revealed, Arab society had many superstitious and groundless beliefs where scientific issues were concerned. Lacking the technology to examine the universe and nature, these early Arabs believed in legends inherited from past generations. They supposed, for example, that mountains supported the sky above. They believed that the earth was flat and that there were high mountains at its both ends. It was thought that these mountains were pillars that kept the vault of heaven high above.

However all these superstitious beliefs of Arab society were eliminated with the Qur’an. In Sura Sad, verse 2, it was said: “God is He who raised up the heavens without any support…”(The Qur’an, 38:2). This verse invalidated the belief that the sky remains above because of the mountains. In many other subjects, important facts were revealed at a time when no one could have known them. The Qur’an, which was revealed at a time when people knew very little about astronomy, physics, or biology, contains key facts on a variety of subjects such as the creation of the universe, the creation of the human being, the structure of the atmosphere, and the delicate balances that make life on earth possible.
